TODAY’S GEM
In 2023, I created a series called The Elementary Demons. Each character was tied to an element—fire, water, air, earth, ice, and electricity—and had its own little story.
It was a real turning point for me.
People loved it. A lot of students started supporting me because of them, and I had so much fun bringing their stories to life and designing them.
Before I knew it, The Elementary Demons became my signature style!
This year, I’ve decided to bring them back to life!
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be redrawing some of them—a mix of nostalgia and a chance to see how my style has evolved.
But why stop here?
I invited my Reality to Fantasy students to join me in a Draw This in Your Style (DTIYS) challenge, exclusively for them.
I can’t wait to share my redraws and their entries with you!

ELEMENTARY DEMONS
Named after the elements they embody, these ancient guardians once protected nature’s delicate balance. But their world is collapsing under the weight of human greed. Forests are burned to ash, rivers choked with waste, winds tainted with poison—the demons grow weaker, struggling to defend the very forces that sustain them. Their story is one of resistance—a desperate, epic battle to awaken a world that has forgotten its own heartbeat.
Aether
Aether, the embodiment of air, moves with ethereal grace, their silver hair floating on an unseen breeze.
Ondine
Ondine, the embodiment of water, flows with power and authority. Firm and uncompromising, they enforce their rules with unrelenting determination.
Ignis
Ignis, the embodiment of fire, burns with unstoppable determination and a warmth that inspires everyone around them.
Nix
Nix, the embodiment of ice, exudes an unparalleled beauty and noblesse. Their presence is like a perfectly controlled winter storm, commanding both fear and respect.
Terranae
Terranae, the embodiment of earth, radiates stability and balance. Their calm presence reflects unshakable strength and deeply rooted values.
Fulmen
Fulmen, the embodiment of electricity, crackles with wild, chaotic energy. Unpredictable and magnetic, they seem unhinged, their erratic nature both thrilling and terrifying.
